About the role

This is a permanent opportunity located at our Brisbane office.

The purpose of this role is to design and implement strategic and tactical solutions that will progress Growth & Future Energy (G&FE) towards its target technology state. The role will develop architecture solutions that support and optimise Stanwell’s renewable energy projects whilst aligning with Stanwell’s strategic architectural direction and enterprise architecture principles.

Additionally, the role is responsible for the successful alignment of technology solutions with business strategy and tactical requirements. This includes responsibility for architecture states and roadmaps. The role provides application and technical solution delivery for the G&FE division, from input to business and technical strategy through to supporting implementation of solutions into production and support resolution of production issues.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver the architectural roadmap (including application and technical) for the G&FE Division in alignment to the business strategy and the ICT strategy.
  • Drive solution delivery through use of product planning, definition and development processes in partnership with defined business application owners.
  • Develop and maintain architecture states and transition roadmap for the G&FE division.
  • Work in close partnership with stakeholders to optimise business outcomes through integration and prioritisation of architecture deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, business and ICT project managers, IT specialists and third parties to ensure alignment with project goals.

About you

  • Application and technical solution architecture experience, with broad exposure to all architecture domains.
  • Experience in managing the development and delivery of multiple architecture solutions in parallel.
  • Critical thinking to drive architecture development and outcomes.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement experience to produce solutions that are aligned to Stanwell’s architecture strategy.
  • Practical, hands-on approach to architecture development, problem solving and implementation.
  • Knowledge of how end-to-end energy assets solution landscape components integrate including information technology, operational technology (SCADA), Internet of Things (IoT), and cybersecurity.
