About the role

This is a full-time permanent opportunity located at our Kidston Solar PV in our North/Far North Queensland Renewable Energy Zone.

As the Service Technician, you will undertake maintenance and installation duties at the Kidston Solar PV site, under the direction of the Site Lead (or Lead Service Technician), ensuring all activities are completed in an efficient and safe manner.

Your responsibilities may include installations, along with preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance, in conjunction with meeting Statutory or Health Safety and Environmental requirements.

The Service Technician responsibilities will also include performing site inventory management duties such as stock takes, unloading, receipt and/or dispatch of goods as well as the operation of tooling and machinery to undertake vegetation management across the site.

About you

  • Current “C” or “MR” or “HR” Driver’s Licence.
  • White Card – Construction Induction.
  • Electrical Trade Certificate and a current Queensland Electrical Fitter/Mechanic license (or equivalent).
  • Experience in heavy industry / renewable energy asset maintenance techniques.
