About the role

Full-time permanent opportunity located in Brisbane CBD.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to conduct effective customer acquisition, retention and contract management activities for Stanwell’s retail electricity business – Stanwell Energy Solutions. The role is critical for ensuring that Stanwell’s aspirations in relation to profitable growth in Retail are realised.

Key activities include:

  • Ensuring a balanced focus between appropriately managing our existing customer base, targeting new customers to ensure the operational and financial targets outlined in the retail expansion business case are met and also contributing to the development of the capability required under the retail expansion strategy.
  • Developing, implementing and executing a suite of products and strategies to position Stanwell as a market leader in the targeted retail market.
  • Extracting maximum potential gross margin in a highly competitive retail market ensuring long term revenue certainty of Stanwell.
  • Maintain and strengthen existing key counterparty relationships including negotiating and liaising with external and internal parties to develop, analyse and execute a suite of tailored products with targeted counterparties.

 

About you

  • Market experience in an energy contracting environment accompanied with solar, battery or electric vehicle experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong negotiator in developing and selling energy products to end users.
  • Experienced communicator (verbal and written) dealing with diverse stakeholder groups internally and with Stanwell Energy’s customers.
  • Proven ability to develop and present strategies, plans and reports in a professional and engaging manner.
